Admire 7000 Gathering Foot

This gathering foot for sergers stitches and gathers two layers of fabric at the same time. It is used for sewing flounces on cushions and curtains and for attaching gathered seams on children's clothing.

To use it, set the machine for straight stitch with the needle in the far left position. Place the fabric to be gathered under the presser foot, with the cut edge extending slightly to the right of the foot. Insert the non-gathering fabric fully into the slot of the foot, with the fabrics right sides together. Guide the fabric and let the machine pull the bottom fabric freely so the gathers are uniform.
