If you are comparing fabric stores in Orange County, here is the honest difference: we carry fewer lines than a chain and know every one of them, and we will tell you which print reads as a solid from across the room and which one does not.
What we cut by the yard
Riley Blake is our biggest line, from Confetti Cottons solids and the Bee basics through the seasonal collections. Hoffman 1895 Watercolors batiks, Moda, Henry Glass, Maywood Studio, Benartex and Poppie Cotton fill out the wall, along with Kimberbell's own fabric lines for their projects.
Cuts start at a quarter yard. When a bolt is down to its last yards we mark it Last Chance, lower the price, and cut it by the full yard so the end of the bolt goes to someone who can use it.
Anything you see on this site that is not on the shelf, we order in for you.
Precuts, panels and backings
Fat quarter bundles, charm packs, 2½-inch strips and 10-inch squares are on the shelf for the lines that offer them, and panels are cut from the same bolts as their coordinates, so what you buy together matches.
Our quilt kits are cut here from the same wall. When a kit uses a scarce or out-of-print line, its page says so before you buy.
For backings we stock Shannon Cuddle, and for bags and totes a range of cork fabric. Batting, interfacing, stabilizer and over 400 colors of Isacord embroidery thread are in the same room, so a project can leave the shop finished rather than mostly finished.

Every bolt in the shop is also on this site with its price per yard. Order online and pick up at the counter, or have it shipped.
