Admire 7000 Blind Hem & Lace Foot

This presnap-on foot is used with an overlock machine to sew invisible hems and to apply lace. For hems, it sews, overcasts, and trims the hem in a single step.

An adjustable guide, set with the guide screw, positions the fabric. When blind hemming, the needle just catches the thread of the fold. When applying lace, the needle just catches the header of the lace. The foot can also be used for insertion lace by repeating the process on the other side of the lace.

For blind hems, fold and press the hem, then turn it back toward the right side of the fabric, leaving ¼" (6 mm) of the edge exposed. Test on a scrap of fabric before sewing a project.
